  • Our Single Bay Compost Bins are a good choice if you have a small to medium-sized garden, particularly if there's not much space for a composting area.

What better way to tidy up your garden waste and keep it out of view with our 100% wooden compost bin.It will easily blend into your garden with its rustic look.

This size compost bin would typically be suitable if you cut your lawn with a push mower in about an hour. Also, don't forget that the advantage of our system is that you can add further bays later (with the Add On option), if you find your compost bin is too small.

Our Single Compost Bin comes in a choice of 3 heights, 3 side widths and 3 front widths so you can ensure it fits exactly where you want it.

Simply select the combination that works best for you and we'll do the rest.

    So a quick overview

    • extra thick 25mm boards (that's almost 1 inch thick).
    • you can choose the width and height that fits your space.
    • you won't need any tools  - simply slot the boards into the posts.  The dovetail joints guarantee the bin's strength so there's no need for any nails
    • the bin can be erected on any level ground with no need to dig footings
    • remember it's treated against rot and so no further treatment is needed - ever!

Sorry but lids are not available for the 1400mm bins.

  • DELIVERY - what happens

The majority of our products are big and heavy and so will be on a pallet which is delivered by lorry.   We send our pallets out with the Palletways network and your local delivery depot will deliver to you.

The driver will be happy to unload the pallet as close as possible to your property, but is unlikely to take it to the bottom of your garden.  Strictly speaking, the driver is only obligated to deliver to your kerbside so please be aware of this if access is a problem.  The driver will not be able to move the pallet over gravel or any area where damage may be caused to your property.

If you have any delivery restrictions - narrow lane, hard to find property, please  let us know so we can pass it on to the local delivery depot.

When your order has been despatched we will email you to let you know.  The local delivery company will then contact you directly to arrange a convenient time to deliver the pallet to you.  You don't have to be in to accept delivery as the pallet can be left safe.

If you haven't heard from the delivery company within 2 days of your goods leaving us, then give us a call so we can sort it out for you.
